It was a couple of months ago that my sister sat me down and told me about something that she had just done. She said it was horrible at first, then she found that she loved it. She wanted to do it again, and for longer. Then, she started telling me that I should do it.
Now, last week, the daughter of a friend of mine announced that she had done the same thing; and she couldn't stop saying how wonderful it feels afterwards. So, this friend of mine, and me... are gonna do it. We're doing the Master Cleanse.
5 days of purified water, lemon juice and other things (to make sure we get calories, vitamins, and nutrients). Supposedly, tomorrow morning is supposed to be kinda brutal.
But, the word is that it cleans out the toxins in your body. In my sister, she lost her food allergies when she did it. My friends' daughter lost the addiction to nicotine. They also say it improves memory, you regain a sharpness in your thinking. Plus it improves your sense of smell and taste. It also sends the most disgusting stuff out your backside.
So, that's my next 5 days. I need to be back on solid foods in 7 days, and it takes 2 days to recover. So, off I go on my new water vacation!

Much Better Now
Well, I just returned to this blog that I started during a bad week in April.
I'm much better now, thank you vurry much!
I've been doing a lot of reading online, and some writing online, but haven't been doing very well at my correspondence online. So, I'll start doing better.
Last week I babysat/nannied/MANnied two of my nieces. A 3 year old and a 9 year old. I did okay. The 3 year old only had one melt down, and one refusal to use a carseat.
I ate bad for me food, watched kid tv shows, and called the toddlers name too much. But all went well, and my sister and brother-in-law were very happy.
Then, I met a friend and we went to the beach for 3 days. I ate too much really GOOD food, saw some somber military historical sites, and had a lot of laughs.
A good week and a half. Really good.

Worthless
I'm one of those guys!!! I get better looking the more you drink!! I'm so honored! I'm one step away from being a slut!
I had a long talk with an old friend last night. The more she drank the more she started saying things like, "Why didn't we ever..." and "You should dye your hair darker, because then I would...." and, "I'm buying the beer tonight." I didn't argue with the last one.
Before you get indignant, I went home alone. Of my own volition. I put my own desires ahead of anything else. And, what I wanted most was to take a shower. We met at a VERY smokey bar. I reeked!
Truthfully, I think our friendship could survive an intimate evening. We know each other well enough to know that it would never lead to anything serious. We're too dissimilar in too many ways. We're VERY similar in others, but those wouldn't overshadow the others. I could see us doing a "Same Time Next Year" thing. Except, we couldn't stay away from each other that long.
Neither one of us are in relationships. And, we don't hang out much when either one of us is. In fact, her friendship with me has been brought up in more than one of her break-ups with others.
This is a really crappy post. It has no point. So, I'll stop.

Gotta Find A Woman Gotta Find A Woman Gotta Find A Woman
So, the thought occured to me last night, that I'm actually getting comfortable with what kind of person I am. I've changed in the last month, drastically.
I'm not feeling negative, not as cynical. I actually have hope. While I may not be a "glass half full" person... yet. I can see the path that leads there. I am approaching the moment that I can see myself in a relationship again. And, it's been years since I've felt that way about myself. It also helps that if the right woman comes along, that makes the journey half as long.
My question is, how do I find this "right woman"? Isn't that the 64, billion, trillion dollar question? Or was it "Who thought Smuckers was a good name for jam?" I forget.
How do I find this woman? Amongst all the women in the world, and there must be well over 100 of them, how do I find her from this little bodunk town in the middle of nowhere? Is there a number to call? Is there a written test involved? Do I have to keep Simon happy for 24 weeks? There must be a telltale answer. (Yes, I know, Crosby said it's on "Page 43". But, he didn't tell us WHICH book!)
So, my feelings of hurt and despising are all but gone. Now comes the fear of an uncertain future. But, that's one fear I don't have a problem facing, because I'm changing.

That Darned Cell Phone!
I need a cell phone. I've got a cell phone. I hate my cell phone.
A friend "text messaged" me this afternoon, and I didn't notice until 6:30pm. I missed the opportunity to meet up with them. We've been trying to get together for about 3 weeks.
My phone doesn't ring often, so when I'm around the house, I don't keep it with me at all times. If I'm downstairs, I try and keep it downstairs. If I'm going to be upstairs for awhile, I try and take it with me. If I'm in the shower, it stays wherever it is.
It's a necessary evil, and it can be VERY evil in the middle of lunch; in the middle of a meeting; or when you're going number 2.
My former cell phone would vibrate when I got a text message. And would vibrate every 5 minutes, until I opened the damned thing. This new one doesn't. But it does have 40-11 different ringtones, none of which I have any interest in; and I can play Quandra Pop on it until the president makes a smart move. But, it doesn't let me know when I've missed a text message. So, what use is it?

3am
Does this happen to anyone else, or is it just me. I spent the whole day doing very little. I shirked my duties, none of which were pressing. I read some, wrote some, had music on the whole day and into the night. But, then the next thing I know it's 3am!
I found this audio site, and was listening to (I guess what would be) podcasts. Short ones, 5 min., 10 min.
But, it was 3am and I wasn't tired. I'm supposing it's because I didn't exert any real energy all day.

And then there was another one...
Anyone sick of blogs yet? Can I see a raise of hands... three four five.....eleven twelve.... four hundred ninety five thousand thirty six.... okay. That's enough.
I don't know what to write here. So, let's just say I did nothing today that I planned on doing. Nothing. Zilcharino.
